Police confirmed to media on Monday that they were focused primarily on gangs offering illicit money exchange services both in and outside of Cotai properties.The operation included the high-profile detention of 39 men from “two large-scale casinos” late on Friday which was caught on video by bystanders and widely shared on social media over the weekend. Videos showed a brawl breaking out alongside the Venetian Macao between a group of around 10 men before police ceremoniously marched a number of suspects through the crowd.In a statement, the Judiciary Police said it would continue to carry out relevant anti-crime operations at different locations in the coming days.
