Nationwide heard about her and her struggle for survival, the dedication of her parents Gary and Carleen through the publication of a book ‘Heroes in the Classroom.’The book is about how people have been inspired by a teacher at some point in their lives – often so much so that it has stayed with them all their life. It’s really well done and heart warming to read.Although it started out as a transition year project at The Rosses Community School in Dungloe where Lucy’s mum teaches, the pupils felt it would be a great way to raise funds for Lucy.Daniel O’Donnell and GAA star Michael Murphy will as celebrity contributors on the show. The programme will be transmitted on Nationwide Mon 13th Jan at 7pm RTE One.HEROIC LUCY TO APPEAR ON RTE’S NATIONWIDE was last modified: January 7th, 2014 by StephenShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:daniel o’donnellLucy GallagherMichael MurphyNationwideskin disorderlast_img read more
